Hands-on group activities

Hands-On Group ActivitiesWhen using the WhyTry Program in a group environment, we have found the use of experiential activities to be helpful in increasing participation and learning among those involved. As a result of our experience we have created a set of activities as an addition to our program.

For each of the visual analogies used in the Facilitator workbook we have included two different activities that can be used to help support the principles being taught . The activities include illustrations and diagrams combined with a list of required materials and detailed instructions on how they should be presented. The activities also include a list of discussion questions to be used as a follow-up to the activity for processing the experience.

Hands-On Group ActivitiesWhyTry Facilitator Training provides an opportunity for Trainees to experience some of the experiential activities first hand.
